“We love each other, period.”

I love many things in life. I love my family; I love my co-workers; I love my job; I love Italian food; I love Rocky movies. I could keep on going, but I think you get the point. One thing that I really have fallen deeply in love with lately is the 15-day challenge. That is correct. I love the 15-day challenge. I love it, but not for the reasons that you would probably guess.

Of course, one of the reasons I love it is because it’s helping people lose weight. It is also helping people feel better, have energy, and decrease bloating. It has helped so many with self-esteem and confidence, and many have shared that they finally felt normal again, both physically and mentally, after taking on the 15-day challenge.

These are all great reasons to love the 15 Day Challenge because I truly do love people. Every time I am involved with anything that helps people feel better about themselves or feel like they matter, it always makes me happy. I love it so much that sometimes I even forget to take care of myself; love will do that to you sometimes!

What I really, really, really love about the 15 Day Challenge, though, is the love it has created around the world. I have seen people come together and support each other. They have joined accountability groups with each other, and sometimes they either barely know each other or sometimes not at all.

I have been invited to speak at some of the virtual meetings that these accountability groups have had. Every time I am invited, I am always amazed at all the amazing stories that I hear. The stories of the 15 Day Challenge transformations are always inspiring. So many people are being affected in such a positive way. It really is beautiful.

The most beautiful part, though, and the part that I love the most, is seeing all the different types of people in these groups and online supporting each other. The 15-day challenge has brought people together from different races, ethnicity, gender, religion, languages, ages, etc., etc.

Every time I see this, it makes me smile, and honestly, sometimes it even makes me cry because I get so emotional. The world is full of hate and division nowadays. Somehow though, here at TLC, through the 15-day challenge, there is hope. I hope that people from all walks of life can support each other, cheer for each other, and love unconditionally.

At TLC, we have a core value that explains all of this in five words.

“We love each other, period.”

It is not just a phrase posted on the wall or something that sounds nice to say. It is a way of life here at TLC. We live by these words, and we challenge others to do the same.

I never expected the 15-day challenge to become what it has become. I thought it was just going to give people the opportunity to lose some weight, feel better, and gain some self-esteem. I have realized it has accomplished so much more, and I’m grateful to all of you who have supported it.

We can’t totally control what’s happening in the world, but we can control what’s happening in our small part of the world. The 15 Day Challenge means so many things to so many people but what it means to me is love. We are teaching people to love each other period through the 15 Day Challenge. Maybe you never realized it or even noticed it, but I’m here to tell you that it’s true.

Thank you for reading, and thank you for doing your best every day to help bring love to the world. I love you all, and because of that, I want you to take on the 15 Day Challenge. Please consider it if you have not done so, it will be one of the best decisions of your life.
