“We love each other. Period.”
Unconditional love is love without strings attached. It’s love you offer freely. You don’t base it on what someone does for you in return. You love them and want nothing more than their happiness. Does this sound familiar?
I am not sure how long you have been with TLC, but it has been many years for me. If it has been more than a couple of months for you, you have probably noticed some unconditional love here.
It does not matter if you are a TLC Employee, Customer, Life changer, or maybe even a TLC vendor partner. Either way, you have probably noticed the love that is part of the culture here. Everyone here seems to want to help anyone they can within our TLC family here, and honestly, it’s been a pleasure to watch and be a part of.
They say I am biased, but I know it’s special here. I have seen people join our community and get embraced by the people that have been here for three months, three years, and even ten years. If you have been here for a while, you may think this is not a big deal, but it is because it is just not typical in many places.
Here we love each other PERIOD. We are willing to help each other, have each other’s back, and are one. If you are part of TLC, and I am as well, then I have an obligation to support you and even call you family; that’s what the core value tells us!
I have seen total strangers meet because of TLC and become lifelong friends. I have seen employees from one department in the company share ideas and free time with people from different departments. I have seen people from different countries that barely understand each other collaborate for the sake of the others or the TLC mission.
I have seen all of this but what sticks out to me is the unconditional love that I have seen. Nobody seems to be doing any of these good deeds or collaborating and expecting anything in return! They just want to help, support, and remind the others that we are family and love each other, period.
I continue to witness this every day, and it always makes me smile knowing that here it’s special. They say, “it’s different here,” and many might think that means many different things, but honestly, it just means one thing. It’s different here just means we all love each other here, and that is just different in today’s world. Of course, there are more reasons why it’s different here, but all of them are rooted in the foundation of love.
Love, my friends, is the best chance we have at changing the world, and we understand that here. We love each other, period, and we believe in love, period. In this crazy world, many have lost faith and hope that the world can be saved but spend some time at TLC, and your perspective will change.
We are attracting and supporting people that have love in their hearts every day, and if you are one of those types, then it’s time for you to join our family. It does not matter what gender or race you are, what language you speak, what school you went to, or if you even went to school at all, and it doesn’t matter if you are tall or short.
Here at TLC, we love each other, period, and you will be loved. I will make sure of it, and so will so many others, and you know what we want in return? NOTHING, we just want you to smile, be happy and help others smile and be happy. If this sounds good, it’s time for you to join us! If you are already here, this reminds us that we have more great people to attract because we are life changers, and our work is never done.
