“Our standard is giving more than what is expected.”

Happy New Year! 2022 is in full swing, and many of us are hopeful that this year will be our best yet, and I feel many of us will achieve it! How will we achieve our best year ever?

Is it from working hard, being more open-minded, practicing patience? What is the secret? Well, all of those things can help, and there are plenty of others, but in my opinion, having your best year yet comes down to giving more than you ever have. I believe if you give more than ever, your year will be better than ever.

Many of you might be thinking right now: How do I have my best year if I just give? Well, that’s just the law that the universe and God have that I know is true. Success is not something we achieve; it is something we attract into our life. That means that if you want to attract “receiving,” then you will need to give in order for that to happen.

This does not always mean money or gifts; it means so much more. Giving your time, your enthusiasm, your service, and anything else you can give can really help you attract many blessings. The 2022 winning playbook has just one play, and that is to give, and if you give more than is expected, you will receive more than expected this year.

They say, “it’s not how you start but how you finish,” and that is true but please remember getting off to a good start can also help you finish strong!

On January 1, 2022, we hosted an online call-a-thon to allow people to affirm their new year’s resolutions and inspire others with their words. We did giveaways, trained on products, had fun, and just gave as much as we could, including our time. It was amazing, and many people helped make the 3-hour event happen and happen well.

A special thanks to Rosa, Scott, Evan, Natalie, Lucy, Nick, Lukasz, Sean, Adriana, Jimmy B, and Coach D for giving your time and efforts!

Thank you to our AV team of Sebastian, John, Joe, Jimmy S, Mark, and Cameron for making everything look and work great!

I wanted to single out three girls this week that really started their year off right and gave more than what was expected! Those three girls are Gabby Aguilar, Amparo Pineda, and Joselin Paramo. All three worked as call screeners and helped us take more live calls than we ever have, and helped make sure that the day was a success.

They started early, stayed late, and did an amazing job. You could tell that all three were doing it because they wanted to, not because they had to. It was a true example of giving by all three.

They definitely had a giving spirit that day. I am sure that each will have an amazing year because they started it by giving. They gave a lot, which usually leads to more giving, which leads to more receiving! Thank you, ladies. May God bless you with a great year.

I want all of you to have a great year, but I believe in order for that to happen, you need to give first. Are you ready to give with no expectations of return? If you are, I promise you will have your best year ever. If you are not, I think you will find that you didn’t have as good of a year as expected. DON’T let that happen, just give and give and give!

I would like to thank each and every one of you for giving me your time by reading this message every week. I appreciate the opportunity to serve, and I always remind myself that at least one person might get impacted by these messages every week and choose to live a life based on our core values. This makes me happy, and for that, I say again, THANK YOU!

Have a great week, and keep giving!
