Your overall health comes from within and isn’t just physical. Health is mental and emotional, as well. If you are not focused on balancing all three elements, you may become burnt out. Mind, Body, and Spirit work together to create harmony for your health. So how can we create this harmony of full wellness?

MIND

Slowing down and breathing is a great way to get yourself in the right mindset. Meditating on your thoughts has been shown to offer many health benefits, including stress reduction, anxiety control, and may help you sleep better as well.

Also, learning new things can be beneficial for your mind as well. Learning is useful for your career, and you can also teach others what you learned and create a culture of lifelong learning. Picking up a new book, listening to a podcast, or learning a new skill is a great way to boost confidence and give you a sense of accomplishment.

BODY

Exercising regularly and practicing self-care is a great way to maintain your health. Creating time for yourself is the first step to deciding which exercise routine will suit you. Self-care is not selfish; you must believe that you matter, and your health and fitness are something that you need to keep in mind to provide for yourself so that you can provide for others in turn.

First, think about what you want to accomplish with your exercise routine. Do you want to build muscle? Maintain your weight? Lose weight? Become healthier overall? Secondly, assess your overall fitness and decide what method is best for your needs and lifestyle.

SPIRIT

Spirit is more than just yourself or a religion. It is evaluating your morals, principles, and seeing yourself as a piece of the bigger picture. Finding your purpose and meaning may take a lifetime but striving to find that purpose is the greatest thing you can do. Serving your community through charity work is a great start to feed your spirit and offer fulfillment and joy to others.

Spirituality can also be found through our seven core values. Each of these invokes a different part of spirituality and can help make it easier to guide you on your spiritual path. Being passionate, grateful, hungry, giving more, loving each other, doing what’s right, and having fun are all something that we should be mindful of to increase our spirituality.
